Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 04 April 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to products (including CCTV cameras and other hardware) and services sold by Simple Surveillance, whether purchased online or through direct sales channels.

2. Transaction currency and payment gateway

All payments are processed in Indian Rupee (INR), unless stated otherwise in writing. We use secure payment partners including Zoho Payments.

3. Refund eligibility (general)

We aim to resolve all disputes fairly. A refund may be approved if both parties mutually agree to cancel/return an order and the request satisfies the applicable product return, refund, and warranty conditions.

Where a full refund is approved, payment gateway or processing charges may be deducted from the final refundable amount.

4. Product returns (hardware)

  • Return requests should be initiated within 7 calendar days of delivery/installation, unless otherwise stated on the invoice or warranty card.
  • Product must be returned with original accessories, packaging, and proof of purchase.
  • Items that are physically damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or unauthorized modifications are not eligible for return.
  • If a product is defective and covered under warranty, we may offer repair or replacement before refund, as per OEM/vendor terms.

5. Service cancellation

  • Service cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
  • If work has already started, charges for completed work, site-visits, logistics, and consumed materials may be deducted.
  • Custom orders, special procurement items, and non-returnable items are generally not cancellable once confirmed.

6. Refund processing timeline

After approval and successful return/verification, refunds are typically processed within 7-14 business days to the original payment source, subject to bank/payment gateway timelines.

7. Non-refundable situations

  • Completed installation/labor charges already delivered
  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling
  • Delays caused by factors outside our control (force majeure, third-party logistics, site readiness issues)
